Working Pattern: This is a fixed term maternity cover position working 1.0 FTE, 39 weeks per year from September 2025

Sidbury Church of England Primary school is looking to recruit a highly professional teacher. This is a fixed term maternity cover position from 1st September 2025. We welcome applications from teachers of all year groups, but in particular would welcome an experienced Year 6 teacher or Key Stage 1 teacher.

You will have the opportunity to work in partnership with other schools within The Harbour Schools Partnership Trust, a group of Devon schools who actively work together to ensure the delivery of a curriculum which meets the needs of all pupils and provides opportunities that are broad and challenging.

You will be dynamic and highly motivated, an excellent class teacher with high expectations and the ability to motivate and engage all learners, have a clear understanding of how children learn, a good communicator who is able to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
